Sushi Nori is 100% natural sea vegetable. These toasted sheets are ready to wrap sushi and roll rice balls. Nori can also be used to garnish soups, noodles or salad.
Grades of Nori
Gold – best grade and comes from the very first harvest of seaweed. This nori is very tender and has a deep umami flavour. Gold grade nori is an almost black-green colour.
Silver – second best and comes from the second harvest of seaweed after the Gold harvest. It is dark green in colour when compared to the lower grade nori.
Green / Blue / Purple – these are entry-level grades. Perfect for beginners and home cooks. This Nori has a subtler flavour than the Gold and Silver grades.
